From now until September 30, capture your checks free of charge. Starting October 1, 2015, deposit two (2) checks free in a month. Each additional check will be $0.50. Mobile Deposit is faster than regular mail and cheaper than a trip to the credit union!
To use Mobile Deposit, you need a TXDPSCU checking account and TXDPSCU's Mobile Deposit App installed on your smart phone or tablet.

There is no fee to download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. From now until September 30, 2015, there is no fee to deposit checks. Deposits submitted before 2:30 pm C.S.T M-F, excluding holidays, will post on the same day. Deposits received after 2:30 pm C.S.T. M-F will be posted the following business day. All checks are subject to review and funds from items deposited will be available in accordance with TXDPSCU’s Funds Availability Policy.
No. If you have a valid email address in our system, you will only receive an email if the deposit was rejected. You can log into Online Banking and review the Account History Page to see if the item has cleared.
The amount will be reversed from your account and you will be charged a regular return item fee. See Fee Schedule.
1. Any item that is stamped with a “non-negotiable” watermark
2. Any item that contains evidence of alteration to the information originally contained on the check
3. Any foreign item, money order, or insurance check
4. Any item that is “stale dated” or “postdated”
5. Any third party check, i.e. any item that is made payable to another party and then endorsed to you by such party
6. Any item drawn on you on an account of yours at TXDPSCU or another financial institution
After scanning the check and you verified that a credit is posted to your account, you are to secure the check in a safe place for 60 days. After 60 days you should properly destroy the check.

Let's get started.
Click "Register Here" on the apps home page to get started. After accepting the terms and conditions, you will be asked to verify your information by entering your account number, the last four of your social security number, and your date of birth.
Select Deposit and Prepare your Check Deposit
After you register, you will need to log into the app. To start a new deposit, press the "+" button. (From now until September 30, 2015 capture all checks free of charge. Starting October 1, 2015, the first two (2) checks are free. Each check after will be $0.50.)
Tap "select account" to choose the account to deposit into. (You will only be able to deposit into the checking account you registered. If you have a second checking account, you will need to register it separately.)
Enter the amount of the check and click "Take Picture".
Take Pictures of Your Checks
Sign the back of your check. Make sure the check is endorsed properly to avoid the check not going through.
Follow the instructions on the screen and take pictures of the front and back sides of your check. Make sure the check fits between the white corners on the screen.
Tap "Next" and review your deposit. If everything looks correct, tap "submit"
You will see your deposit pending in the app. Once it has been received by the credit union, you will see the status changed. Check your online banking to verify funds have been received.
Checks deposited Monday-Friday before 2:30 p.m. will be credited to your account on the same day. All other deposits will be credited to your account on our next business day.
