Credit Union Volunteers

Accepting Applications for Committee and Board Volunteers

All of our members, the only owners of Texas DPS Credit Union, provide the direction for their credit union. One way they do this is by volunteering to serve on the credit union’s Audit Committee, Credit Committee, or Board of Directors.

The Audit Committee is primarily responsible with ensuring the effectiveness of internal checks and balances within your credit union. The Credit Committee is responsible for assisting in reviewing of loans, in accordance with laws and regulations. The primary responsibilities of the Board of Directors are to ensure quality member service, fiscal safety and soundness, and setting the long range strategic direction of the credit union by working with management and staff.
